Emerging singer-songwriter Attalie Anne returns with her new single, 'Table for Two'— heartbreak never sounded so good.
Attalie Anne just released her latest single "Table for Two," a heartfelt exploration of love and loss. The track's dreamy, layered soundscape complements its evocative lyrics, capturing the universal aching of moving on from a cherished relationship.
Produced in collaboration with Seth Goodwin of Velvet Year, this track showcases Attalie’s distinctive sound—introspective yet irresistibly catchy. Inspired by the tension between connection and separation, Attalie’s poetic storytelling and intricate melodies convey the raw emotions of letting go.
"I saw a photo of two people leaning together, their foreheads touching, and I couldn’t stop thinking about that energy-charged space between their eyes,” Attalie said. “It’s so strange how two lives can become so deeply intertwined, only for that connection to suddenly disappear. Whatever the reason, that abrupt change—the ‘what now?’—is so potently difficult to navigate.”
Offering a striking blend of vulnerability and melodic allure, “Table for Two” is a breakup anthem that is so satisfying to sing along with, inviting listeners to feel every note and every memory.
“This song is about holding onto love even when you know it’s time to let go,” Attalie continues. “I was really trying to capture that struggle, when a relationship ends but the memories linger, making it feel literally impossible to let go. It’s something I think so many people can relate to."
Just 20 years old, Attalie has been honing her craft since her early teens. Her earlier works, including the debut EP "Things I Said" and the single "Cups, Bowls & Vases," revealed her talent for crafting emotionally resonant songs. As she matures, Attalie’s music continues to evolve, offering a blend of heartfelt introspection and magnetic charm that stays with listeners.
